Our mission is to make more than just cups
We are PromoCups, a specialist in cups. We have been helping our customers integrate paper cups into their marketing strategies since 2008.
The idea arose in 2007 on the sidelines of a football match and it was noticed that a lot of coffee was drunk from white paper cups. That, in combination with the presence of the many billboards around the field, gave rise to the idea of using the space on the coffee cups as a sponsor space.
It soon became apparent that there was also a lot of demand from the business community for cups as a means of communication. We have therefore focused our attention more on the business community. Together with our customers, we look at how their cups can best be used.
In 2019, paper cups have become an indispensable part of everyday life. We use them in the office, on the road and still on the sidelines of a football match.
Due to the increased importance of sustainability and ecological responsibility, we have also specialized in the sale and printing of reusable plastic cups. Raising awareness about the use of reusable alternatives seems to be working, as we have noticed a strong increase in interest in our reusable cups.

We do this for local companies, sports clubs and coffee bars, but also for multinationals in the Netherlands, Germany, England, France and Spain.
Our cups can therefore be found in large parts of Europe. So who knows, you may have already owned a PromoCups cup.
Why do we do it?
We believe that cups are more than just a utensil. We see cups as a creative medium that fits within any marketing campaign. Coffee, as well as tea and water, are drunk everywhere. In the office, but also at large events with a lot of visitors.
A paper cup therefore has the potential to be seen by many eyes, especially if it has a catchy print. Whether it is to spread a serious message in a hospital, a fun print for an advertising campaign or branding for a coffee bar. We believe that paper cups are still not used enough as a marketing tool.
How has PromoCups grown?
In the early years, PromoCups only supplied cardboard cups with a PE coating. (more info about coatings here) and plastic disposable cups made from PET. These cups were the norm and were widely used. With the current climate movement, we have started looking for more sustainable solutions.
As a replacement for normal paper cups, we have a full range of plastic-free paper cups. These have the same quality as you have come to expect from us, but they are less harmful to the environment. The plastic-free cups can of course also be fully printed.
We have found an answer to disposable plastic cups in hard plastic cups made of polycarbonate or propylene. These cups are available both printed and unprinted. Our reusable cups are virtually unbreakable and dishwasher safe. You can already encounter them at various major festivals and local open-air events.
Of course, we are always open to tips and suggestions to better meet current standards.
