All packaging must be recyclable (from 2030)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting <strong>January 1, 2030<\/strong>, all packaging in the EU must be <strong>designed for recycling.<\/strong><br>That means: simple materials, easy to separate, and suitable for existing recycling systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our <strong>P2P cups with a water-based coating<\/strong> are fully recyclable with paper waste \u2014 already completely in line with the new requirements.<br>\u26a0\ufe0f Note: From <strong>2038<\/strong>, only <strong>A- and B-classified<\/strong> packaging will be allowed on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Ban on PFAS in food packaging (from August 2026)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PPWR bans the use of <strong>PFAS<\/strong>, harmful substances sometimes found in food packaging coatings.<br>From <strong>August 2026<\/strong>, PFAS will be <strong>completely banned<\/strong> in cups, food containers, and other food-contact products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our <strong>cardboard cups are PFAS-free<\/strong> and already comply with this future regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Less waste, more reuse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EU aims to <strong>significantly reduce packaging waste<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5% less per person by 2030<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15% less by 2040<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, <strong>reusable packaging<\/strong> is being encouraged.<br>For transport packaging, the reuse targets are <strong>40% by 2030<\/strong> and <strong>70% by 2040.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At <strong>PromoCups<\/strong>, we also offer alternatives: <strong>reusable PP and Tritan cups<\/strong>, ideal for events and hospitality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. New labeling &amp; clear recycling information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the coming years, a <strong>single unified label<\/strong> will be introduced across the EU.<br>Each package will include information about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the material type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sorting instructions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>whether the packaging is reusable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reusable cups will also carry a <strong>QR code<\/strong> with information on reuse and recycling.<br>This labeling will become mandatory <strong>between 2028 and 2029.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
